Australian Monitor shines at ISE 2011

Australian Monitor was once again one of the hottest tickets at Europe’s largest audiovisual trade show, as a combination of sophisticated DSP solutions and innovative new digital devices drew thousands of visitors to the AM booth at Integrated Systems Europe 2011.

The company’s remarkable digital expansion continued apace with the debut of several exciting new products at the record-breaking ISE show, held at Amsterdam’s RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre from February 1-3.

Among the biggest crowd-pullers were live demonstrations of the awe-inspiring new AMD digital amplifiers and the eagerly-awaited Zone Revolution DSP.
Australian Monitor’s AMD series of 1RU mixer amps represent a quantum leap forward in connectivity, control and flexibility in the constant voltage amplifier market.

With their powerful on-board processing and comprehensive integration capabilities, these high-spec amps provide EQ, Dynamics, delay and level control to tailor audio systems to the most challenging acoustic environments – while enabling users to link to PCs and third party control systems, add Australian Monitor ICON Control Panels for remote audio control, or use as standalone amplifiers.

ISE 2011 also provided a fitting showcase for Australian sMonitor’s newly released Zone Revolution sound processing system – at the same venue where its ‘big brother’, the AV Revolution, was released to huge acclaim last year.

Like the AV Revolution, the Zone Revolution employs the very latest DSP technology to broadcast the highest quality of music, paging over multiple venues for the bar and nightclub market. Larger installations can be serviced by linking two Zone Revolutions for up to six stereo zones – with intuitive interfaces provided by Australian Monitor’s ICON Control Panels and Paging Microphones.

The power, flexibility, and simple operability of the AV Revolution DSP have already made it a hit across Australian Monitor’s 85-country network, where it has been incorporated into venues as diverse as boardrooms, function rooms, shopping malls and university lecture halls.

“We are confident that the Zone Revolution will also be seen as the answer for more discerning bars and clubs, which may need several staff to manage audio delivery across multiple rooms with ease and confidence,” said Australian Monitor’s Regional Manager, Greg Collins.

This year’s ISE also saw the public unveiling of the iPad ‘app’ for the AV Revolution – the first in a series of easily downloadable applications which enable the AV Revolution and Zone Revolution to be controlled from Apple’s popular iPad® and iPhone® devices.

“Visitors were positively stunned by the number of feature-packed digital solutions we had on display at this year’s ISE,” said Greg Collins. “Our product development team takes great care to use market feedback in creating innovative solutions to technological challenges – and we were absolutely delighted with all the positive feedback we received at this show".
