International Dance Music Awards for DYNACORD
At the International Dance Music Awards (IDMA)—presented in the course of the Winter Music Conference
(WMC) 2008—DYNACORD systems and installations were highly successful
Straubing, June 2008 The presentation of the International Dance Music Awards (IDMA) is one of the highlights of the annual Winter Music Conference (WMC) in Florida. Bestowed by a high-caliber jury and covering categories ranging from "Best Radio Station" to "Best Broadcast" – some 50 in all – the much-coveted awards single out for recognition the movers, shakers, clubs, and systems setting the pace in the international DJ and dance stakes.

One of the brands dominating the global club scene in 2008, it can fairly be said, is DYNACORD: not only was the firm nominated for an IDMA in the 'Best Sound System' category but, with the nominated Pacha club in New York and IDMA-winning "Space Miami" both boasting DYNACORD alpha installations, it bestrode the "Best US Club" category, as Cassius would say, "Like a Colossus".
The cherry on the cake for DYNACORD was undoubtedly Infinite Audio Systems' win in the "Best Sound Installation" category; and the founder and CEO of the Miami-based installation company was quick to recognize the role DYNACORD systems are playing in his company's snowballing success: "It is an award that perhaps represents the level at which we are installing nationally, and soon internationally," said Lord Toussaint. "We are designing and integrating more than audio systems. We are installing 'revenue generating equipment'. These systems make venues desirable and memorable, in great part because of HOW they sound compared to others. We have been able to help nightclub owners "gain and retain" dedicated customers with the implementation of Dynacord, Alpha Concept and EV products. These systems become part of the club venue's DNA. Since we specified and installed DYNACORD, Alpha Concept and EV products at Pacha NYC," observes Toussaint, "they have become the most important nightclub in the U.S."
Infinite Audio Systems Inc., the full-service provider founded almost 25 years ago by Lord Toussaint, is today one of the mainstays of the American entertainment industry; and whilst the prize-winning Space Miami and all-conquering Pacha in New York may be among the most famous, they are by no means the only installations for which Infinite has put its faith in DYNACORD systems.
