beyerdynamic turnover reaches new heights
Heilbronn- Germany-
German based audio specialists, beyerdynamic, look back over another successful business year. With a growth in turnover of over 17% in 2006, expectations have been exceeded for the fourth year running with growth in all areas, including investments and new product development.
The Heilbronn headquarters responded to this positive situation by taking on over forty employees with new positions in production as well as in development and sales. In doing so, beyerdynamic has remained true to its ‘made in Germany’ philosophy. Area Sales Managers have been recruited to strengthen contact with international partners, particularly those in Eastern Europe and Asia-Pacific, who are expected to fulfil great potential over the coming years.
“Strengthening these partnerships and having direct dialogue with our local representatives will be the main focus for us in the future”, said beyerdynamic GmbH Managing Director Wolfgang Luckhardt. “The newly formed ‘beyerdynamic Academy’, with its comprehensive training programme, makes an important contribution to further extending the technical expertise of the market partners. The long term future is looking bright, with the prospect of a double-figure increase in turnover once again in 2007”.
beyerdynamic are setting themselves new challenges with innovations in every area of the business. There are high expectations for the groundbreaking Aviation Business Unit, established in June 2006, which focuses on developing microphones, headphones and headsets for use in aviation.
With almost unlimited possibilities, strategic planning is central to the continued success of beyerdynamic in the mid to long term.
