The President of the Federal Republic of Germany joins hamburger chain McDonald's in using beyerdynamic’s Conference Technology
Audio specialist beyerdynamic adds a new name to their list of prestigious clients: The Office of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany in Berlin joins the likes of Ronald McDonald in installing a beyerdynamic conference system at the beginning of the year. The beyerdynamic Conference & Presentation business unit was established in 1996 and today is the mainstay of the company, contributing to over 40% of the annual turnover.
The Introduction of the MCW technology to the market in 1998 marked the production of the first wireless conference system in the world, which today still offers the world’s leading technology in the conference equipment market. The innovative product portfolio of this young business unit also includes wired conference systems, interpretation systems, installation microphones, recording software and digital signal processors, teleconferencing components, audio mixers, mixer amplifiers and power amplifiers.

In Spring 2007 the company presented ‘Revoluto’, a new generation of microphone stations that by making use of a specific arrangement of special microphone capsules can do without the typical gooseneck, thereby providing the speaker with almost unlimited freedom of motion. With this patented solution, beyerdynamic underscore their key role in the audio market and continue the current positive development of the company.
That’s why numerous companies around the world rely on technology from beyerdynamic. The reference list includes renowned national and international projects. The management floor of German automaker Daimler Chrysler (in Stuttgart, Germany) and the British Embassy in Brazil use the Heilbronn audio equipment ‘made in Germany’, as do the International Finance Corporation / World Bank Group and McDonald’s World Headquarters (both in USA). The latest news:
Following the Lower House of the German Federal Parliament in Berlin, the new videoconference room in the Office of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany now also features beyerdynamic technology; 15 modern conference workstations equipped with an MCS 50 conference system are available to the Head of State and his staff. The gooseneck microphones are built into the table, enabling reliable speech transmission to the whole world. The system has touch panel control; the cameras are programmed for speaker tracking, where the active microphone station sends signals to the media control unit. ‘Our decision in favour of a conference system from beyerdynamic was based on, apart from optimal technical options for connection to the media control unit, the microphone design,’ reveals beyerdynamic Project Manager Andreas Zenker.
