Sony Computer Entertainment Europe boardroom chooses Biamp’s Nexia
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE), has unveiled its new high-profile boardroom at its London studio on Great Marlborough Street. Designed and delivered by Manchester based specialist the TSK Group, the project has pushed the boundaries of audio-visual communication environments in both the technology and design techniques used.

The ultra-modern environment developed for SCEE completely revolutionises the facilities previously available. The new boardroom will be utilised by the entire Sony Computer Entertainment Europe group, and will provide a fundamental tool for the presentation and marketing of landmark products such as the forthcoming Playstation 3 and Qualia projection and display products.

Biamp’s Nexia was chosen to control all audio processing from various sound sources, such as playstations and DVD playback, before DSP processing and zoning outputs to the speakers around the boardroom.

Mahesh Patil, IT Manager at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe commented: “The London studio is the most high-profile building for SCEE in the UK. The old boardroom was looking very old and tired, but the new environment created by TSK is in a completely different league.”

The project was completed in just ten weeks.
