| Kid Ego is a British band that unashamedly deals in classic, full throttle rock music. Behind the aviator glasses, the Nikki Sixx mullets and the faux-grimace posturing, these boys are getting rave reviews performing dirty, sleazy rock and partying with the true fans wherever they sway their axes. On tour they use beyer Opus microphones for vocals and instruments. Lead vocalist Zakk Taylor uses an Opus 560 radio mic. "Not many mics can handle the power my voice puts out,’ Zakk told us, ‘ but the Opus 560 is great. It really delivers that punch…..Opus Rocks!" Kid Ego has supported some of the hottest names in rock including Motley Crue and Thunder. They are currently touring in the US before returning to Scotland in July for the Wickerman Festival, followed by a 10 date UK tour in September that takes in Glasgow, Edinburgh, York and Newcastle and the Quay Vipers Raleigh in Belfast. |
