| The stylish Envy Post Production facility, located in the Noho area of London north of Oxford St, has just equipped both track-laying rooms with Blue Sky Media Desk 5.1 speaker systems. Sound designer Ian Hargest (known as ‘Arge’) told us, “Obviously the tracking rooms aren't the size of the on-line post rooms. We needed a 5.1 monitor system that would represent the same feel and sound of the custom Exigy speakers, but in a compact size, and the Blue Sky's are perfect for it”. Envy is one of the most impressive studios you could walk into anywhere in the world. All rooms are linked with Avid and DigiDesign systems, and the large rooms are equipped with widescreen projection and Exigy 5.1 surround speakers plus DigiDesign Icon desks. Envy post cover a wide range of work, from full scale cinema advertisement productions, to short and long-form TV programming. Recent projects include the Channel 4 documentary ‘The Falling Man’ and the series ‘Fat Pets’, ‘Charlie & Lola’ for the BBC and Disney, BBC documentary ‘Ocean Odyssey’ and BBC drama The Headmistress. |
