 beyerdynamic proves Klein + Hummel is truly Universal West Sussex pro-audio distributor, beyerdynamic has recently supplied Elstree based Everything Audio with a complement of Klein + Hummel 0 400 active loudspeakers and O 800 studio sub-woofers for use in Universal Sound’s new purpose-built Foley editing suite in Amersham.  Everything Audio’s Roger Patel collaborated with Universal’s Phill Barrett and Acoustic Consultant, Noel Hill to design and supply a state-of-the-art Digital system which featured the K+H monitors. Specified for their sonic clarity, robust design and essential aesthetics – they offered the perfect solution for Universal’s stylish editing facility.Acknowledged as one of the finest Foley recording/editing facilities in the UK, Universal Sound has worked with major TV broadcast stations and production companies including Yorkshire Television, Granada, Martyr TV the BBC and 4 MC for over 10 years. Providing a dedicated Foley service to the Film and TV community, Universal Sound offers advanced digital solutions to meet contemporary broadcast demands. The new purpose-built facility comprises a state of the art Foley studio and a further two TV drama Foley studios, allowing the company to increase its capacity and expand the features side of the business. Phil Barrett explained: “Having put a number of different monitors to the test, K+H not only gave us absolutely uncoloured sound, but due to their compact and stylish design fitted perfectly with the overall aesthetics of our new facility.” The system, designed and supplied by Everything Audio, comprises of six O 400 mid-field monitors and three O 800 sub woofers – a pair of the monitors and a sub woofer have been installed into each of the three new suites. For over fifty years, K+H have been developing and building first-class, high performance studio monitors. Today they are regarded as one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of innovative studio products, with an uncompromising eye to meet the highest and most demanding of standards. The result, in the K+H O 400 and O 800 active monitors is sonic clarity; precise bass response and precise dispersion patterns.
