CEDIA – a huge success for beyerdynamic

CEDIA – The Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association is an international trade association, which has recently staged its annual UK showcase at The Brighton Centre. Now in its 8th year, the show boasted a record contingent of exhibitors, with over 80 companies exhibiting a range of audio systems, control systems and AV equipment.

Offering total systems solutions, beyerdynamic (GB) showcased a diverse, but targeted range of products for the most demanding home AV applications. The emphasis was on CUE– specialists in developing and manufacturing integrated multi-media remote control systems. A very stylish range of colour Linux ™ based touch-screen panels provide the ultimate in systems control. The highly intuitive platform is simple to operate and can control and integrate any device from air-conditioning, curtains, blinds to lighting, sound and AV. CUE is fully compatible with ClearOne’s range of powerful telephone and video conferencing systems.

ClearONE’s IP addressability and ISDN options, have completely simplified video calls. Simplified controls and setup wizards make VThere the ideal residential and home office video conferencing tool to connect the office, family and friends very cost effectively.

Also on display were a range of beyerdynamic’s own brand, award-winning headphones, which provide a perfect complement to any stereo or surround sound system. Klein + Hummel’s unique range of active loudspeakers were also showcased making a perfect complement to any system –offering nothing less than sonic excellence.

Matt Nettlefold, from beyerdynamic commented:

“This was our second year that we’ve exhibited at CEDIA. As per last year, we were very impressed with the quality of leads and certainly both ClearOne and CUE were extremely well received. A positive show all round. I am certain that we will exhibit again next year.”

As the leading Home Technology show in the UK it was attended by over 3,000 industry professionals. A combination of Architects, Electrical Consultants, Installers, Interior Designers and Integrated Systems specialists attended from around Europe.

Due to increased demand, CEDIA 2004 will be staged at the ICC in Birmingham 1-3rd June.
