Also on display is the XB/XR series from Bittner. Designed to cater for demanding live applications, it combines high fidelity sound with unsurpassed reliability. Benefiting from Surface Mount Technology, ultra–linear output drivers and intelligent “cool” circuitry, it guarantees reliable operation. By virtue of its torodial transformers and low impedance, it delivers powerful bass frequencies. In addition, its softstart feature eliminates unnecessary stress on power lines and fuses. Its extensive protection circuitry coupled with its granulated power spectrum maximises reliability and performance. A switch-mode version will be available soon. To perfectly complement the XV series, Bittner’s XT/ 8XT series transformers offer the potential to connect several loudspeakers in parallel to a single XV series amplifier. Benefiting from reliable power granulation, flux free winding, simple wiring, it is available as a single transformer or in an 8-channel chassis. The 8X series transformer packs the reliability and audio quality of the XT/8XT series into an ultra- compact 3U chassis. It provides 8-channel multiple zones at 100V low impedance. The CS series transformers are designed to complement the XB/XR range, offering superior audio quality and an unsurpassed level of operational safety. The powerful Bittner SXL amplifier control and monitoring unit offers a wide range of features, inluding logical inputs and relay outputs for conventional operation. In addition , a windows ™ based software GUI provides access to all control features via Ethernet. Highly flexible, the SXL can control up to 16 amplifier channels. Multi and dual channel amplifiers can be connected in any combination.
