beyerdynamic talk clients language!

Mansfield Council have completely equipped their newly refurbished chamber rooms with beyerdynamic’s Phase 4 MCWD – digital wireless conference system.

Phase 4 options include digital recording, zoning functions and translation options. Working in the 2.4 GHz band to give extra security, the system offers 5 different ways for delegates to vote. Results are collated by the intelligent controller and can then be displayed via PC to a screen in graphic form, easily saved into Microsoft Word or transferred into beyerdynamic’s StenoS recording Software programme, which means that the whole meeting can be recorded, stored and archived onto a single CD. The system also offers the ability to utilise beyer’s Multilingual translation system (SIS). Delegates can select their preferred listening language via the buttons on each individual unit.

The complete system was installed by Tim Brown of Apple Sound. “The beyer system is completely wireless” he explains “and this makes setting up and installing a conference system so much easier. The clients like the fact that we cause the minimum amount of disruption to their room and meeting schedule. Being radio, the system works pretty much anywhere in a building, unlike other wireless options, such as infra red, which can be affected by walls and fluorescent lighting.

“We do a lot of video and audio conferencing installations using ClearOne products, and we are excited to now have the ability to link up to the voting conference system. The new features on the MCWD200, make it the only product on the market to really offer what clients want.”
