beyerdynamic's Jon Dew-Stanley wins "Technical Person of the Year" at this years prestigious AV Awards

Jon Dew-Stanley, says John Midgley beyerdynamic's MD, has designed and specified many of its complex solutions, assisting end users, installers and consultants to develop new technologies’.

He has become an industry expert in the field of DSP products and presented the Institute of Sound and Communication Engineers technical DSP seminar this year.
Technical projects undertaken have included the installation of new lecture theatres at Brunel University, based on Cue control systems; new Cue-based systems at Wentworth Golf Club; Audia DSP system installations at Rank bingo halls across the UK; and Biamp Audia digital audio network systems installed at Gleneagles. Stanley’s technical input, says Mr. Midgley, has helped the company achieve over 30 per cent growth in the a-v market.

The judges commented on Jon’s input to the development of his company into new areas, his involvement in the development of a mix of audio and visual solutions for clients, and a high level of involvement in the technical side of the audio business.
