New Ti Series from MC2 Audio

The Ti Series is the first fruit of the collaboration between the MC2 and XTA research and development teams since the merger last year. The new Ti Series offers a complete solution to the audio integrator who wants to combine remote monitoring and control with the outstanding audio quality of MC2 Audio amplifiers.

The Ti Network bridge allows control, monitoring and audio to be distributed by either Cobranet or Ethersound via the Ti Network Break-out box. The Ti Network Bridge and Breakout boxes come in either 8 or 16 channel versions. The 16 channel version is fitted with Phoenix Eurostyle connects and the 8 channel version can be fitted with either Phoenix Eurostyle or standard XLR connectors.

Utilizing industry leading ADC and DACs, all units are 1U rack-mount with 5-segment meters, multi-channel GPIO, RS485 bridging and auto sensing power supplies.

Taking the existing T Series amplifiers as the start point, we have integrated remote monitoring of output voltage, current, power, protection status and temperature via RS485. We have also added the remote control of bridged/dual mono/stereo modes, level, mute and standby function. Analogue inputs are via XLR and Phoenix Eurostyle connectors as are RS485 comms for control and monitoring. Speaker outputs remain on NL4C Speakon connectors.
