beyerdynamic introduces the “Silver Edition” design of the MPC 22/23 acoustical boundary microphone series. These installation microphones are finished in matt metallic silver, or traditional black, which blends into materials such as high quality wood for example in boardroom environments. The two-ply wire mesh microphone grille is robust and provides a low flow resistance for optimum sound permeability.

The SHM 22.18 mini gooseneck microphone is another new product. It has been designed for installation into tables or desks and is used for discussions or video conferences. The 85 mm long gooseneck provides a 4-pin female mini XLR connection. Additionally the use of the CVE 22.18 power supply, provides a protection against mechanical vibration. The microphone can also be connected directly to a beltpack transmitter of the Opus wireless systems series and is therefore ideal for lecture rooms, forum discussions or presentations. The microphones are also shielded against inference from mobile phones.
