The alpha concept by Dynacord is synonymous with high-end audio in clubs and discotheques. alpha concept stands for superior performance and reliability. With the loudspeaker cabinets alpha X-1 and alpha B-3, alpha concept became the reference for the best sound in major clubs. Our customers demands for smaller systems providing the same outstanding sound performance as alpha X-1 and alpha B-3 was the basis for another alpha concept development. Absolute optimal sound dispersion in the near field, the highest SPL and at the same time compact size and superior acoustic abilities were the most important criteria. In combining these high demands, alpha V-1 and alpha B-6 loudspeaker systems again set a new standard within their class. Efficiency, sound quality, radiation, design and reliability at the highest level.
Numerous well-known clubs and discotheques have successfully used alpha concept systems for years. Their outstanding reliability, enormous output power capacity and their truly breath- taking sound have set a new standard for club and discotheque applications. Not forgetting the continuous exchange of ideas from different sound installers and club owners which contributed greatly to the success of the alpha concept. Within three years, alpha concept became the market leader in Germany while several projects across the world set new milestones in the alpha concept history of success.

ALPHA X-1
The alpha X-1 system is a horn-loaded, active 3-way loudspeaker system. The bass-reflex tuning of the two 15" drivers, coupled with a Constant Directivity horn, provides extremely precise and punchy reproduction of the Lo-Mid frequencies – down to 80 Hz. In the range of 800 Hz to 8 kHz, the truly dynamic and clear reproduction of Mid-Hi frequencies is taken care of by a 2" high-performance drive unit with a True Constant Directivity horn (90° x 40° or 60° x 40°). The brilliant Hi-frequency reproduction is provided by two diffraction or ring radiators (90° or 60° model, respectively). The alpha X-1's trapezoidal shaped cabinet allows convenient arraying of several systems. |

ALPHA B-3
The alpha B-3 system incorporates 2 x 18" PWH – Planar Waveguide™ technology (patented) sub woofers. The patent specification defines "PWH" as Planar Waveguide with a Helmholtz resonator, placed inside the wave guide. The 6 to 7 dB gain in the SPL of low-frequencies results from the relation between the resonance of the waveguide and that of the Helmholtz resonator.
The PWH sub woofers' construction additionally limits the cone's excursion, guaranteeing truly faithful impulse reproduction, excellent dynamic capabilities, very low distortion, and continuous reliable operation. alpha B-3 systems provide extraordinary directivity in the low-frequency range down to 35 Hz, combining the advantages of direct-radiating and horn-loaded system principles. The unique PWH-design makes the B-3 system superior to any conventional sub woofer-design. |

ALPHA V-1
The alpha V-1 System is a compact hornloaded active 3-way loudspeaker system. A 15" high-performance driver which is mounted in a Conical Waveguide Horn produces maximum SPL providing extremely precise and powerful Lo-Mid reproduction; even below the 100 Hz mark. The 2" compression driver with Constant Directivity Horn (selectable 90 x 40 degrees or 60 x 40 degrees) delivers a crystal-clear, natural Mid-Hi response from 800 Hz on. The brilliant high-frequency reproduction up to and above 20 kHz is taken care by two coaxially designed ring radiators.
The trapeziodal shape of the alpha system allows to easilly stack several systems in clusters. The intergrated rigging-system of the alpha V-1 system is trully noticeable. Four optimally located riggingpoints allow the system to be „flown“ vertically or horizotally oriented as well. Even in venues with low ceiling height, installing the alpha V-1 is no problem at all.
