SIS- simultaneous interpreting system.
International meetings and conferences with people from various countries require professional interpreters and a good interpreting system. Our SIS - Simultaneous Interpreting System has been designed for multilingual events and consists of a control unit and an interpreter station. SIS provides many functions and superb audio quality.
The interpreter station is placed at the interpreter’s work place in a soundproof booth. The SIS 1202 has been developed for use with two interpreters working in the same booth. Either headsets or headphones and microphones may be connected. A red On Air light which can be also seen from outside of the booth will indicate who is interpreting. The user panel of the SIS 1202 has been designed according to practical criteria and comfort. Volume, treble and bass can be adjusted individually.

  • EarPatron® is an intelligent ear protection that exceeds all existing ear protection functions. It makes sure that the sound pressure does not exceed a defined maximum value. The sound pressure is regarded in proportion to the time of listening and EarPatron® indicates how many per cent of the legal noise has been achieved.

    As various headphones produce a different sound pressure,     EarPatron® has been developed to meet another requirement- the DT 394 SIS was designed specifically for this system. TheEarPatron® function allows that all headphones have the same maximum sound pressure level and volume range. By pressing the “MUTE” button (cough button) the audio transmission is interrupted as long as the button is pressed. A “Service” button links to the technician without bothering the participants of the conference. With the integrated input and output channel selection, the interpreter can select each input or output channel of the system. By using the “Original” and “Relay” buttons it is possible to switch between original and relay channel. The large display indicates selectable voice and relay channels and information of the EarPatron® function. It is possible to program two more lines via the control unit or the PC (name of the speaker, time etc.).
