The new MCS 20 conference system from beyerdynamic is the latest in a line of high quality, low cost wired conference systems designed for ease of use and great audio intelligibility. Consisting of a simple power supply unit plus delegate and chairman microphone units with integrated loudspeakers, the MCS 20 system couldn’t be simpler to use.
All operating functions are controlled via the Chairman’s unit, including selection of request-to-speak lists, voice activation, integrated speech timing and setting of maximum number of speaking microphones.
As the system is “plug and play”, set up of the microphone units is quick and straightforward, using robust interlinking cables that will stand the test of time – an ethos that is common across all beyerdynamic conference products.
With up to 240 microphone units able to be operated simultaneously within one system, MCS 20 is the ideal solution for any installation environment where cost is at a premium but quality is demanded.

MCS 20 Models
MCS 20 Power Supply Unit
The MCS 20 power supply unit has been designed to power all devices in the MCS 20 conference system. Up to 60 microphone units can be connected to one power supply unit. The number of required power supply units for one system depends on the number of open microphones and cable lengths in the system. Therefore, the number of open MCS 221 delegate units (max. 8) must be taken into account. The operation of the MCS 20 is not position-dependent. Several units can be piled in a rack.
