With the Classis Series, beyerdynamic introduces the next generation of microphones for all areas of installation. Gooseneck and boundary microphones for table or overhead installations combine a sophisticated, unobtrusive design with innovative engineering, functionality and excellent beyerdynamic audio quality with optimum speech intelligibility. Due to the innovative ScudioTM technology there are no problems using wireless mobile devices simultaneously. The continuous quality is guaranteed in all installations no matter if using one or several microphones The Scudio technology includes many electronic and mechanical characteristics to eliminate unwanted interferences by wireless mobile devices, where the patented shielding of the capsule in all microphones is an important detail.
The interaction of all Scudio features ensures the optimum audio quality and speech intelligibility of all beyerdynamic installation microphones of the new generation.
Classis Gooseneck Microphones Two microphones with a fully flexible gooseneck and three microphones with a flexible part at capsule and shaft
provide room for individual applications. The Classis gooseneck microphones primarily impress with an attractive
beyerdynamic Corporate Design - with a matt black surface, balanced proportions, a slim line gooseneck with a
diameter of 6 mm only and an exclusive new housing for the high-quality electret microphone capsule.

Terminations The long gooseneck microphones (400 or 500 mm) have a rigid upper part and lower flexible part for a better appearance.
We offer 3 standard types of termination:
G = flange mount fitting 5/8" internal thread supplied with 3/8" adapter with external preamplifier.
A = internal preamplifier terminated in a 3-pin male XLR plug
AS = internal preamplifier terminated in a 3-pin male XLR plug with on/off switch.
Both A and AS versions when ordered for the 21 or 81 illuminated ring versions come terminated with a 5-pin male XLR. This is required to supply a DC voltage for the LED.
