AM2200NG & AM2600NG
The new AM2200NG and AM2600NG take the heritage of the iconic AM series amplifiers of the 1980’s and 1990’s and deliver the same legendary performance and reliability for today’s market.
The AM2200NG and AM2600NG amplifiers boast a huge step forward in amplifier protection in the form of a comparator circuit that compares the post volume input signal to the output signal level. When the THD of the voltage exceeds a certain value (around 0.5%),voltage limiting occurs, stopping the amplifi er from being driven into over-voltage conditions. The AM2200NG and AM2600NG also combine a more effi cient class G design with a switch mode power supply to deliver a series of power amplifi ers that offer high power, light weight and outstanding sonic performance.
